Sublimation

One of My Cryptic Poems…It’s meaning is up to you, it certainly meant something to me. Happy New Year, Friends, Romancers, Bloggers.

Slow the time I’m with you

Cut the head

Of the serpent of the moon

Lonely heart

Needs more than a

Touch

Decipher the riddle of fakes

Close your eyes for your

Sakes

Then the

Portals may

Open.

Sublimation

Your salvation

Sublimation

Build

Don’t destroy.

The kinds that I

Seek

And fall

Sidhe of light

See your

Soul

What token

Of truth

You’ll send

Beginning

Is in the

End

Beginning

Is in the

End.

  1. I have read this 3 times. I love its dynamics. Do you see sublimation as salvation in the sense of man sublimating his dark impulses as the only answer for him to evolve? And help me with “beginning is in the end”. I love it but am having trouble tying it together. It might be that I am getting little sleep these holiday nights.

  2. Yes, you are correct. Man has to accept the dark impulses inside to be able to evolve, with all its ramifications in all the aspects of being human. Man has to “END those impulses that hinder his evolution, and doing so, will start a BEGINNING. I see human life is always the resolution of internal conflicts. And if the final END comes without resolution that could help others, still, that end is the BEGINNING of a new existence for the individual, a question that individual can only answer. Would we turn to angels and still watch over mankind? Or just wandering planets contemplating eternal thoughts? The excitement never ends. I happy about your description of dynamics. It’s actually a song I wrote in my early 20’s, it’s melody is close to the “Tears” by the Chameleons.

  3. gotcha

ps, I checked out mach five and enjoyed it. My son (16 yr) and I both agree it would be a kick ass song to drive to…

  4. I’m impressed you also have a son, a teenager at that, what an achievement! Mine’s still five years old, his name’s Micko Franz. Yeah, it is a good fast song, kept me awake in those late night term paper marathons.

  5. I see you have two children (About). As you know, every moment is to be savored…

I also have two grown daughters. I am blessed.

  6. that is, WE are blessed
