How I see The World

Windows to Windows

The eyes are the window of the soul, you say
Look into my eyes
See my soul’s hell and also my Heaven
And let me look into yours
So that
I would not feel so damned
Or so
Blessed
Either.

Wow! Eyes are indeed windows of, and to, the soul…The real communication between two souls happens via the channel of eyes.
Someone tells me I have very clear eyes. She doesn’t know perhaps that what she sees is my the clarity of my soul :)
Lovely poem, Tom. I loved it.

I can see that too, Manoj. Thanks.

A powerful write, Tomachfive, thanks for sharing this ‘window’ view through your eyes.

Thanks LC, glad you’re here with me.

Yeah I liked this and I liked the arrangement on the page as well. It added to the piece.
I’m having one of those days where I am feeling a little uninspired so I’m glad that I can read your pieces. They help. kim

Glad to be of well, Kim. We all go through that, but we have each other so it won’t take long the quilled bird will land with feathered word. Take care, okay.

I like to think that communication without words is real and can only be “heard” thru the eye’s window to one’s soul. If you find the right person, the right connection, the eyes can tell you all about the person, from good to bad…Great work, thanks for sharing…
I absolutely agree with you, the eyes don’t lie. You’re always welcome.

If someone would dare take a peek inside my soul’s window, I wonder what they’d see?
    I
    Love
    This!
I believe I will see beauty.

    Hi Tom
Another lovely, deeply meaningful and intense poem ! well done…ah but to look inside the soul, how many surprises would all find there…
    well done
Hi Janete! Nice to see you again. I believe that other’s seeing us deeply is the only time we are truly defined. However, if no one does this for us, I’d rather be an encyclopedia of my neighbor’s souls, it’s not that boring!

Thanks for stopping by and for your words, this one I have to say caught my eye, because I totally agree with this absolutely.

A person’s eyes are indeed the windows to a soul. The one part of a person’s body that never changes with age is the reflection that bounces back from their eyes and onto the world. So much can be said with a gaze or a glance. Wow, Really love this. :D
    You’re welcome, Famtz. Thanks.
