February Love Poems IV

Refreshing the Window

It’s inevitable
We’ve uploaded a lot
Just to update our relationship
Now
The bytes per second got slower
Surfing took longer
We could not search immediately
Our windows opening with agonizing pace
You just
Smiled
A powerful refresh
I just stopped looking at the computer
Just stopped
You opened a new window
I was refreshed
After all the fuss about uploads and pop-ups
Everything was reloaded anew
You
Smiling.

Seasons

When you serve the best coffee
It is summer
You give me a new tie
It is autumn
You slap me for looking at another
It is winter
You forgive me
It is spring
You cook me bacon and toast
It is summer
You are sulky silent
It is autumn
You sleep with your back to me
It is winter
You hug me
It is spring.

Wet and Dry Haiku

Souls of Desert sand
Seek heart moisture of two falls
You and me:oasis

When We Are Old

Look at them
Young men and women
Eyes
Constellations
Of a galaxy
We’re never alone in the universe
Renewing the ties
The gravity of distant suns
Fountaining in their bossoms
We are like that
Now we have our white hair
And laugh at each other’s wrinkles
I’ll just look into your Eyes
The constellations of Us
Never dim
In their starlight.

Smelling the Flowers

I passed by
Your window
To smell your flowers
Bright magnolias
Violets Sunflowers
Orchids of blue
Roses of wine
I never want them to wither
I dread the day
That I couldn’t smell them
No more
So I go to you
The caretaker
Of those flowers
So that I will be watered
Fertilized
And sang to by you
Every morning
So we will always Bloom
Then
Only then
Will those flowers
By your window
Will never fade.

Farewell for Now-Ku

Going to the office
We kiss our goodbyes
We’ll sleep later

In the same bed again.

Looking for God?

I had a terrible dream
It seemed I will never see
The face of my God
Because I am so impure
Human clay was I fashioned
That would take eons to be gold
But behold
I woke up
And saw your face
Shining in the morning Sunlight
And I felt tears
Console my morning glory
For I have seen
The face of God
With a smile seen only by me
I touched your face
And said
Thank God
Praise God.

Umbilicals with Fingers

We walk
Toward the Net Cafe
To chat with strangers
Trusting not to go overboard
We walk together
Holding hands
Parents of this bond
While our baby’s
This our baby’s
Cord
Is our
Fingers
Intertwined
Parting
The cord remains
Invisible
While we laugh
As they offer us undying love
They who never saw our faces.

Fra Lippo Lippi Said It Well

So if you want to sail
On the wings of the cloud
Where to well nobody knows…
Be weak
If you want to love

But if you want to love
Don’t wait for the right one
Get a not so right one
But in the right mind nonetheless
Then mold the clay of you and you
Into a brown jar glowing with expectation
Smelling of earthy alieness
Tasting of secrets salty and warm
Smelling of New York perfume bought without currency
Tasting of skin bathed and smiled upon
Smelling of what
Tell me what
Then your love will be
A gourmet dish.

(Lots of love to you all, Friends!)
(Watch your weight!)
(But even you’re plump and chubby, nothing changes between us, okay?)

I’m Not Going to Run Away

I’m not gonna run away
Though I’m a stallion in a rut
To your dungeon I’m taken away
To clasp your hand as you putt.

No more will I chase gazelles
Their furry rumps in the air
This lion will chew yellow bells
Salivate when you descend the stair.

Panic grabbed my balls and squeezed
When you tearfully stayed my lascivious hand
But the virus of polygamy was sneezed
When I saw your eyes the promised land.

So please loosen around my hips these ropes
I’m tired of running from me
Want to be the rock of your hopes
Gonna run with you to our big blue sea.

Chains

You have me fettered
In chains
I cannot move this way and that
I face the wall lettered

With a contract
To look out of a barred window
For all eternity
For one sexual act

These chains
Fluffed to petals and flowers
Without allergy
I roll and dream in this hammock
As my age gains

Your chains are my chains
Reborn into tendrils with grapes
My and your future it shapes
Cuddling each other as it rains.

Form to Fear

I wish that my fear
Has a a body
So that I can return the favor
And give it a piece of my mind.

Make it sit and listen
For once
Tell it to get lost
On the road less travelled.

To point a finger to its face
Stop bothering me
Because I have many things to do
Hope it has a neck

So I can throttle it for good measure.

Touching Her Hair

Touching her hair
While she sleeps
Trusting that
I won’t cut a lock
And throw it
Amongst the potions
Ensuring
Her loyalty
But there
Is no need
Her belief
Is more potent
Than magic words
Or bubbling potions.
