The Power of Appreciation

The greens of a cheerful tree greeted me a merry dear day, how can I respond in less than cordial manner? The blue sky putting its arm over that fellow smiled at me as well, so my heart lightened at that, making my steps strapped with nuclear powered pogo sticks. Anti-gravity could never be this so affordable.

The air made a waterslide into my nostrils, hugging my lungs and kissing my arteries. We gave each other high fives and took potshots at smokers smoking with non-smoking activists around. We laughed, are they inviting trouble? I’d never want to be at that avenue again when gay and lesbian activists and the feminists took down each other with pelted eggs. But, we were happy when they kissed their reconciliation afterwards. What did we do? We laughed some more and caressed the river like a good beagle.

Oh life that is in me
your pearls are everywhere
my job not to step on ‘em (pick ‘em up)

People suddenly turn white and have big black eyes like Mulder’s the truth is out there goofs, but I don’t care. I have my friends, I have my body, I have my choices, I have my salami and lettuce and fresh subway sandwich. Smile at me I smile at you, and ah what peace.

Nice blouse you got there
Accentuating your hair
I can’t think you bare
Your head’s full of ware

No it’s not soft
You’re my Lara Croft
Let’s toast the sunset at your loft
Hug and a tear so soft

Drops from my cheek to your shoulder
Your trust is my holder
I will never grow colder
This fellow is now your soldier

Beauty is all around us
Please at this moment don’t tell me to tell it to the marines
This is a beautiful moment
That I see you bathed in light
I embrace the world without fear
Then it is then
Nothing ever dies.

Peace be with you, Sister! that last idiomatic expression i learned way back my elementary days and i often wonder how that got to be coined, hehe, are the marines really that unresponsive or indifferent? take care!
