Facial Expressionism
My eyebrows are angel’s wings
Rising in wonder of you speaking
Powered by the joggings of your ramblings
Lightening you my bushy bling bling.
Dark deep beckons as my nose flares
Taking in the air rich with your cares
For my reactions tasty medium rares
Just behind is your circus lion’s lair.
Eyes widen at your pearly essence
Blue agates scintillate in your presence
Sense your invisible being solid incense
Poor disguises for my indifference pretense.
Finally it’s my lips turn to fly
To the ray streaked dawn sky
Come crashing down from on high
To yours whence the unspoken cry.

Friendship for the Uninitiated
If I belong to you and you not to me
I am just a nag you spur on bloody
Frothing and heaving I collapse on the muddy way
Which you leave behind on a stormy day.
If you belong to me and I not to you
Then you’re no more than a slave someone threw
At my feet to do as I please
Your passing is what would only ease.
But I belong to you and you belong to me
My home is your home for our reverie
Together we conquered a world of our own
Just by crying with each other on the phone.

Location of Tranquility
One windy morning I lay unasleep eyes closed
The gauzy windows fluttered on an open window
Shadow and light danced on my eyelids posed
Bright and dark images flickered in placenta hosed
These contrasts accompanied peace of me in escrow
while my mother the next culinary binge she nosed
While I realized if these proud lashes were brought low
Pandemonium of thoughts winked one by one comatosed
I look at these cow’s brinded hide in the meadow
Of my pause the anxious child now sweetly dozed.

Closing Haiku-Vendo
A small coin I gave
Out came gorgeous brewed coffee
Now an officemate’s fave.

Child in My Arms
As I look at your face
I escape to your own world
Such peace
No amount of terror seen heard and felt
Can ever take me away from you
You are the light that will never fade
In my mind in my heart in my soul
Your closed eyes tell me all
The trust you give me
Banishing all the darkness
With just a fleeting smile
I will watch you grow
I will hear your cries
I will be there when you don’t see me
Till the start of forever.
Self Awareness Solidified Solidifying
Oh I have to think of myself
The boundaries set by my limbs
Waging war with nothingness
Stretching of wavelengths by other heavenly bodies
Contemplate on how my blood colors
Wanting to have a color of its own
I have to stay the blurring
Of the lines of me
By the cries from within and without
Shrill enough to break glass
No, that is not enough to break me
I will know who I will be
I am knowing who I am
I knew who I was
From clay
To something more embraceable than before.
Nativism Ethnocentrick in Education: Hybridity Factor Ascendent
So they want to have purity
Like the soil shouts for just a specific dress and tongue
These former conquered
Getting back at long-dead conquerors
In denouncing atrocity on colonial bodies
They inflict atrocity on half-breed innocent minds
Telling us our unpatriotic nature
what we can’t do
On our fellow human beings
This is a big country
Let’s marvel on how different we are
As we pass each other on the street
But don’t tell us what to say or do
How bland will our life be
Without Grey’s Anatomy and MTV.
I love being a poet, in poetry, one can say everything and nothing all at once, just like music.
