Poetry on Real People: Peoplepoemage

The Sex Machine: User Friendly

Your day is a pie
A third for living and answering why
The rest is R-18 logged on the sly

Your cup filled with nothing but sex
Your roofie muscles you flex
Your jock-jaws sharky your hex

Can’t you assign a fantasy schedule
On a day a week you drool
Give a rest to your power tool?

Just then you may smell the flowers
Instead of sweaty need-to-be washed odours
Turn off your jackhammers

Believe you me you will hear the sweetest voice
Angel of decent rose be among the choice
A new machine for real life your Rolls-Royce.

Your Sunlight is Portable
You dance with wolves
Heathen gods from the dark ages
But your cherubs revolve
Converted us to Feminist sages.

Neutrinos from gigawatt smiles polishes
Our friendship that outweigh egos by a ton
Platinum wings of your soul’s wish
Dawn’s chivalry’s field is won!

Brothers are we to you the pure Hazel
To the last man we will hold the line
You saved from internet hel
By sharing a piece of your sunshine.

The first one refers to a pal of ours who is addicted to porn and is a certified predator, although he is not yet collared for it, and so far, his conquests appear to be willing victims themselves, however, although we tolerate him in the group. I really wish he would stop his shallow view of women and enjoy the pure feelings of a good romance sans the luridness of the vids that he watches. He hasn’t read this yet but I bet my lucky dollar he will just shrug and say, “I don’t give a damn!” Oh well, maybe in time I could tell him a thing or too about a really Jerry McGuire love.

The second is about our dear friend Hazel who has a profound influence in our group, mainly because she is what we call our feminine side of ourselves with a touch of Y chromosome, because she could be more manly than all of us four guys combined, so when she is with us, our masculinity dives under the Pacific Ocean and we become novitiates of her New Religous Order. Kidding aside, we learn a lot about her regarding today’s women and it is worthwhile listening to her. I hope she does learn something from us as well. I’ve showed her the poem and as the title suggests, there was sunshine all around and she did not correct my grammar :}.  So these are my real people for these pieces and it was a joy writing about them. There will be more soon to come, probably to show also a variation of their personalities and of course, other people to put on the hot seat, so to speak!

i like this…makes me feel safe

Sometimes friendship is sweeter than owning one another…friendship with a woman, especially with someone with intelligence like her…makes us feel free, like stepping out of stereotype world. I wish you have a friend like her.

  2. They were both great, but I loved the first one – hysterically funny.

Great, and we’re both have a nice moment. Take care!

  3. oh, these pieces are very good. I agree with the previous comment that the first poem is funny. There are some great lines in the second one.
They both remind of me of people I know.

Really? I’m glad you liked them. How are you? Hope you’re doing okay. As for the one referred by my first piece, be wary of him, lol. Take care.

  5. Hi Tom! Great poems! Hmmm, I like the second one better. She must be great, your friend.

You know, you just gave me an idea! Might try writing about real people too.

Lemme list down my ‘victims.’ :-)

Oh yes she is! Yes, try it, it’s fun! Gonna visit you soon. Take care!

  6. I enjoyed both of these poems, Tom; the first for making me laugh at your euphemisms for the love machine.. ;> and the second because I find I like Hazel even tho I don’t know here. You state your case convincingly, BTW. Oh, and I like your word “Peoplepoemage” and will duly note your coined word, Mr. Clever.. how you been, my friend? {{{hugs}}}

I’m very good, thank you! Too much stress, physical to the least though not that much, has me demanding more zzzzz’s, yeah. It’s only now I got back and I missed you Guys.

Well, the first guy is goofy for all his Casanovan overtures so probably that blended with my words, he deserves to be pilloried in a way (lol) and I’ve shown this to him and he just slapped me on the shoulder, laughing. I hope it is an eye-opener for him.

As for Hazel, I haven’t seen her for quite some time and I am getting worried about her. I hope we can see her again.

Peoplepoemage sounds nice, right? Thanks for the Mr. Clever monicker, yeah, I can be that. Take care, and God bless.
