If I had a thousand lives
I would learn all the languages
Make love in all of them
Write poetry
Read histories
Converse with their speakers
Over a cup of whatever can
Bring social exchange
But I have only one life
So I will take pains
To master
The language that will
Bring us together
Closer than ever
Till the beginning of
Forever.

Oh this could be me too…It is my fondest wish to be able to talk to anyone, anywhere in the world and understand what they said, be understood while I speak their tongue. Imagine what a world of possibilities and knowledge would open its doors to us, if it was so.
