We all have to go through suffering and pain/// there is no exemption /// life proves that time and again /// taking that away from you will make you non-human /./././ and then /// it’s like beer without the suds /// cheeseburger without the cheese — swimming without water /// telling that to a pained person only means one is very wrong in timing /// like wanting to make love while the baby’s crying…but then, you are not alone…

I watch your pain and feel your pain

I cry your tears when you are in tears

I laugh with joy at your joy and laughter

Even if I’m not there

I’m here and you don’t know it

But time will come

You will know

Everything about you

And about me

And all the pain is past 

Beyond suffering

Wandering like me in the cold dark outposts
